Panoramic X-ray
The nurse takes an OPG X-ray of all your teeth and jaws. It takes less than a minute and you stay standing.

Medical history with the dentist
We go through the questionnaire: illnesses, medication, implants, smoking, pregnancy. And above all, what brought you to us.

Examination
Teeth, fillings and prosthetic work, gums and periodontium, oral mucosa, tongue and palate, bite and jaw relationships.

Treatment plan, if anything is found
We show the X-ray on screen and, if we find anything, we tell you what we recommend and what can wait.

Registration, payment if applicable, and booking
You sign the registration form and we take care of the rest. You can book your next appointment straight away.

Today I visited the office for an initial examination and registration. Everything was done very professionally, in addition, I also solved an acute problem and I want to thank the doctor for accommodating me during this first visit. A small surcharge for this extra work, not unexpected fees for the initial examination as mentioned in the previous review. The price list is listed on the website. Otherwise, very pleasant staff and a modern office and waiting room.

At first I was quite nervous and put off my visit for a long time because I had had bad experiences elsewhere. But here, the approach is completely different. Everyone was nice, the doctor explained everything and checked during the procedure to make sure everything was okay. In the end, it was completely painless and much better than I expected. It is true that the prices are not the lowest, but the approach, care and overall feeling are worth it in my opinion. Moreover, when a person cannot handle everything at once financially, they try to accommodate, for example by spreading the procedures out gradually. After a long time, I finally feel like I have found a dentist I am not afraid to go to.

My experience here is very good.during the time i needed a dentist to consult dor my aching tooth..they accommodate me and luckily a slot was open the next day.from the receptionists to the doctors who examine and did the procedure of filling my tooth .to the person who clean up my teeth.they were all very kind and professionals.the facility is clean and uses state of the art machines..the cost in all the consultation and procedure is high since i have no insirance right now.but if you doni think the price you pay will be less .in my experience it is worth it.They can speak engkish so foreigbers who hard tine speaking czech can communicate with them well.they are approachable and kind .

The dentist was very gentle, patient, and highly professional. She taught my child how to properly use a new electric toothbrush, and my child really enjoyed the visit. The front desk speaks English and responds quickly. While she may seem a bit rushed at times, our issue was handled efficiently. Appointments are currently easy to get, which is a real advantage. Overall, a positive experience and I would recommend this clinic.

How much does the initial examination cost?
For insured patients, both adults and children, it is covered by health insurance, and the panoramic X-ray is included. Self-paying and uninsured patients pay 1248 CZK. Only a 3D CBCT scan is charged separately, at 1500 CZK, if it is needed for the diagnosis.
How long does the examination take?
We set aside 30 minutes for it. Please arrive about ten minutes early so that reception can register you and you can fill in the medical history questionnaire.
Will you take me if I haven't seen a dentist for ten years?
Yes, what matters is that you have come. If there is a lot to treat, we will split the treatment into stages you can manage both in time and financially.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, with no age limit. An appointment for the initial examination is usually available within a week. For children, a parent must also register with us.
I have toothache. Can you treat me straight away?
If there is room in the schedule, we will see you for an emergency appointment, which takes about 60 minutes. In these cases we book you in for the earliest available slot. We also treat emergencies if you are not registered with us.
I'm afraid of the dentist. How do you handle that?
We go at a pace you are comfortable with and never rush anything. We offer Entonox (laughing gas), which significantly reduces anxiety and wears off shortly after treatment. Tell us about your fear at the start so that we can work with it.
Do I need records from my previous dentist?
In most cases no, we take a new panoramic X-ray. We only request them for more serious diagnoses, for example for periodontal patients.
I'm pregnant. Can I come?
Yes. The examination follows the standard scope, we just leave out the X-rays. Please let us know at the start of your visit.
Can I choose my dentist?
The initial examination is carried out by any of our dentists, who then remains your dentist. If you have been referred to a specific dentist or would like to see them for another reason, let us know when booking and we will arrange it.
Can I communicate in a language other than Czech?
Yes. We speak English, Ukrainian, Russian, German and Italian.
What happens after the initial examination?
Most often, treatment of decay according to the priorities in your plan, plus dental hygiene, which we recommend after every initial examination. If everything is fine, we book you straight in for a preventive check-up in a year – and if you would rather not schedule it now, we will get in touch with you.
