Why prevention

A problem caught early saves both your teeth and your wallet

Tooth decay and inflammation do not hurt at first. By the time they do, treatment tends to be more complex and more expensive. A regular check-up combined with dental hygiene catches problems at an early stage: a small cavity means a small filling, gum inflammation can be stopped completely, and many procedures can be avoided altogether.

Haven't been for a check-up in a long time? That's fine - book an appointment and we will help with whatever is bothering you.

Fissure sealing for children

Protecting molars from decay - we recommend it as soon as the tooth has erupted

The chewing surfaces of molars have deep grooves, called fissures, that a toothbrush cannot reach. This is exactly where cavities most often form. Sealing fills these grooves with a thin protective layer, which stops plaque from taking hold.

  • Ideal for children (aged 6-7) once the permanent molars have erupted
  • No drilling and no anaesthetic
  • Gentle, non-invasive treatment
